‘To adult or not to adult’

To adult or not to adult?

Unfortunately we have little choice in the manner unless you are lucky enough to be a citizen of Neverland.

But for the majority of us who are not lost boys, we are lost young adults in a big world.

We have reached the time in our lives when parents start to eye up your room as potential extra space AKA move out Dave – move out.

Getting a job, a mortgage and a permanent headache is finally here. The moment you’ve waited for your entire life.

Adulting is not all it is cracked up to be.

You have to start doing adult jobs (ew) like going to the bank (ew) and paying in cheques (ew).

What is a pay in slip people does anyone know?

What is the difference between a tax return and a tax rebate? Is there a difference? Will we ever know?

A friend of mine asked me the other day who should she phone about her tax, luckily Google, reliable as ever, provided us with not only the answer but the telephone number available to call at a click of a button ( or though technically at the swipe of a touch screen).

But alas how did the pre-googlers learn to adult?

Where did they turn when life brought along a conundrum even their smart friend couldn’t answer?

I’ll google it.

Do you know what I mean?
